| The hunt is on. |
The Prime Minister David Cameron bowed to public pressure yesterday and confirmed that the Hunting Ban on Simply Red singer Mick Hucknall will be lifted after 20 years. Cameron announced the news in yesterdays Dispatch Box citing that he could no longer ignore the publics wishes and had received an 'unprecedented amount of requests'. Avid campaigner and former band member Fritz McIntyre is delighted with the news.
'It's been a long time coming but this is a great day for Hucknall Hunters everywhere'. McIntyre has been calling for the ban to be lifted, even when Simply Red were at the height of their fame. 'Mick isn't the sort of guy to bear grudges,' added McIntyre. 'He knew his number would be called some day, and he can't complain really, he's enjoyed 20 years of relative freedom.'
Simply Red have had to cancel the remaining leg of their American tour as Hucknall has now entered a witness relocation program. Hucknall released the following statement to the press last night.
