Stuart Hall sentence review (gumtree pending)

Stuart Hall's prison term could be under review again after new evidence was revealed last night that he had in fact not raped or interfered with any children between the years of 1970 - 1972.
Hall's lawyers are looking to reduce his 30 month prison sentence for historical sex offences, claiming that his term should be reduced for his years of abstinence. A judge residing over the case has not yet overalled the claimants rights to a reduced term.
"Hall showed amazing restraint during those two years," he declared. "We know how easy it was for celebrities of that era to cash in on some prepubescent pussy, and Hall should be rewarded for taking a raping hiatus during that time."
Fans of Hall have started up a petition in light of this new evidence to get him released. A spokesman for the fan club wittingly coined 'Hall of Fame" last night said, "Hall has proven himself to be a good person after all. Obviously we can't condone what he has done in the past, shows like 'It's a Knockout', 'Going, going, gone,' made for terrible viewing. But lest we forget he did do a 'Question a Sport' and provided the voice over for 'Les Dennis's Home Video Heroes.' These two shows really showed off his versatility as a TV presenter and if you throw these two years of complete celibacy into the mix, then he shouldn't be behind bars in my book. In fact I bet when the Queen gets wind of this news she'll no doubt regret her hasty decision to strip him from the honours list."
It's been rumoured that a final verdict on Hall's yo-yo prison term could be announced during the Queens speech on Christmas Day as the BBC look to compete with the final of X-factor in the ratings.

Hall could get time of for good behaviour in the early seventies.
